Amazon.com Product Description The closest you'll get to a traditional bed without actually buying one, the Intex Air-Flow queen airbed is ideal for travelers who want the comforts of a bed but the convenience of a blow-up mattress. The top and sides of the bed are constructed with a special network of interconnected air cells that cause the air to flow smoothly and gradually across the sleeping surface. The unique engineering creates a luxurious sleeping surface that's comfortable and stable--a dramatic departure from many other inflatable beds. The mattress is also equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom for stability. And best of all, the Air-Flow mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button. The Air-Flow is raised 20 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses. And at 60 by 20 by 80 inches (W x H x D), the mattress is an official queen size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Air-Flow queen bed--which offers a capacity of 600 pounds--is a terrific choice whether you're sleeping at the in-law's overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. The mattress comes with an AC power cord and a duffel bag (for storage) and carries a 90-day limited warranty.

Wow! January 6, 2009 This bed is perfect!!! Very well made, very comfortable---as a matter of fact it is more comfortable than my "normal" bed. I bought it to leave at my son's (out-of-state) home so I'd have a comfortable place to sleep when visiting. I have multiple orthopedic problems so getting up from a regular inflatable bed was impossible for me (and besides, they would usually deflate under me anyway). This double-stacked bed was not only easy to inflate, it stayed that way! Made getting out of bed very easy for me. It is everything it says it is, but it is a tad bit smaller than a queen, but full-sized bedding doesn't work very well on it. Buy the queen-sized stuff for it. Buy the bed--you'll love it!
Poor quality, breaks at seams after just a couple uses December 13, 2008 I consider myself a loyal customer of the Intex brand of air mattresses. I have purchased several Intex Queen raised airbed models in the past and each one has been of excellent quality and lasted well beyond my expectations--but not this particular model.
This model, compared to all other Intex models I have owned, was slow to inflate, and louder. I could deal with that as an acceptable part of the design. That was annoying, but it did not bother me until a few days later when the product deflated.
This model lasted only a few days before it began to leak along the seams. Leak repair sealant would not solve the problem and seal the leaks because they were so widespread.
I will not purchase this particular model again, but overall Intex does create a very high quality line of air mattresses. I have been exceptionally happy with all of my previous Intex purchases--this one was just the exception.
Great quick guest bed! Fits Queen Sheets Perfectly! December 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this bed for a large family gathering, and ended up sleeping on it myself for four days. It is definitely the most comfortable air mattress I've ever slept on. I used a mattress pad with it, which I recommend, as an air bed will feel cooler than a regular bed if you don't use a good mattress pad.
Another reviewer stated that its size wasn't true; I used standard queen size sheets, and they fit it perfectly, and the top sheet actually tucks in at the bottom of the mattress (between the top and bottom mattresses) and stays put! Brilliant! If you've ever wrestled with sheets on an airbed that come off easily, then you know what I mean.
It's not quite as high as a regular bed would be, but it isn't as hard to get out of as a regular single thick air mattress either. The flocking all around helps keep the bed quiet when you move around in the night, so it feels more like a real bed. The pump is great; quickly inflates and deflates the mattress. My cats slept on it with me, and they had no complaints either. A good choice, given that everything in the USA is now made in China anyway...
Great mattress November 14, 2008 I use this mattress almost everyday while in the process of moving and it is great. You do have to add a little air before using but it is very comfortable.
leak air easily October 24, 2008 i brought this airbed 2 months ago, and i sleep on it everyday. it leaks little air everyday, but it's fine. it's comfortable.
