Great for dancers August 15, 2008 These kneepads are my favorite. They are light, and breathe really well. They can also fit under your clothing without bunching anything up.
If your kid plays football- get these elbow pads over any others! July 7, 2008 I have two boys who play tackle football plus a husband who coaches youth and high school football. I think I've purchased just about every football related product out there. This brand of elbow pad is the best one out there- it's light and breathable unlike the neoprene pads, the little hex pads offer nice protection where they need it, and it doesn't end up smelly like the other arm pads I've purchased. I searched high and wide for these bad boys in every Sports store in our area- they have all the other "popular" brands (they're terrible!) and Eastbay is sold out of the smaller sizes (for a reason!). Trust me on this...your kid will love them and so will you when they avoid the inevitable gash to the elbow from a helmet. Yep, it will happen, Mom. Be prepared.
knee pads for the squeamish April 28, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm using mine when I ride my bike. Frankly, I've had too many incidents with knees and shins in the past, and I'm a little gun-shy about riding my bike without some sort of knee protection. Therefore, I wear these knee pads, which no doubt are meant for other uses for non-wusses, like volleyball players or inline skaters. At any rate, I like these knee pads because they're not hard like normal knee pads for BMXers. They just basically give me peace of mind if nothing else. I think if I fell, they would give me basic protection. They fit nice and snug, and they breathe pretty well too.
