| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Worn by the best players in the game. It is the most popular ankle brace on the market today. Used to replace costly tape for injury prevention, it features a lightweight nylon/vinyl fabric shell with two figure 6 stirrup straps that may be adjustable at anytime during play without removing the shoe. These straps simulate a professional taping technique that lends additional support and protection for common injuries.

This is a good brace July 31, 2008 This brace is exactly the same as the brace given to me by my orthopedist after my grade III ankle sprain.
It's just like taping up the ankle but with velcro so you can do it over and over again.
If this brace won't save your ankle then nothing will.

Great ankle support! January 27, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I rolled my left ankle pretty badly in the summer while playing basketball. I gave it some time to heal but I kept hurting the same ankle over and over, so I asked my friend if I could try his Ace ankle wrap. I used it a few times and I found that it really hurt my foot after around 10 min of use, even when I'm just walking around. So I bought the McDavid ultralight ankle brace. The name says it all- it IS amazingly lightweight and provides very good support and have saved my ankle more than once so far. The two straps that go under and around the arc of the foot feel slightly flimsy because the fabric used for the straps is so thin. The brace is easy to put on, but taking it off can be a hassle because you have to loosen everything again, and it gets annoying sometimes. If you don't use it with long socks, the brace can scrape some of the skin off your ankle or cause blisters to form during heavy and extended use. Other than that, it's a great ankle brace that will fit almost all shoes.
